You’ll meet fewer foreigners here, giving you unhindered opportunities to explore the region’s lush tea estates, rice plantations and mountain ranges. Put the kettle on: Dibrugarh is the largest tea exporting town in the country.
In the afternoon we visit the Namphake tribal village, seemingly stuck back in time, with heavy Thai influences the village is also home to the Namphake Buddhist Monastery.
