Hoedspruit - Greater Kruger
Upon arrival in Hoedspruit, you will be met and transferred to your lodge situated in the Greater Kruger National Park area.
It’s said that Kruger has the greatest variety of wildlife in Africa. Lion, elephant, leopard, cheetah, giraffe are present as are a profusion of herbivores. Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, this national park of nearly 2 million hectares, is unrivalled in the diversity of its life forms and a world leader in advanced environmental management techniques and policies. It’s here that one can (hopefully!) view the Big Five in abundance.
Settle in to your accommodation and spend the afternoon at leisure before embarking on a sunset game drive in the private concession, followed by dinner.
Reaching the destination:
You can fly into Eastgate Airport, from where you will be collected by a representative from the lodge. Flights are not included in the package rate. Alternatively a shuttle transfer service is available from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to Hoedspruit town, Eastgate Airport or designated transfer collection points in close proximity to the lodges (optional and at additional cost).

Game drives in Greater Kruger
Spend the next two days enjoying early morning and late afternoon games activities through the rolling savannah grasslands and riverine forests. The natural ecosystem offers the opportunity to have close encounters with the animals that traditionally roam this area. During the day sit back, relax at your lodge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and sounds of the wild!

The 'Twin Share' price is per person when there are 2 persons sharing a room. The 'Single Room' price is applicable when a single room is required. Prices are based on a travelling party of at least 2 adults. If travelling solo, an additional ‘1-person’ supplement will apply.

Timbavati Safari Lodge, Kruger National Park

The accommodation was well organised and enjoyed the whole entire safari experience. Very clean, comfortable room, breakfast, dinner and lunch was all traditional foods which was nice.
